Central City's non-profit lunch restaurant and pretty super awesome job/life skills training program, Café Reconcile, regularly hosts different restaurants' executive chefs to lead the student groups through some of their signature dishes. This week, the visiting chef is Chip Flanagan of Ralph's on the park. According to a newsletter sent out today by Reconcile, Chef Flanagan will be teaching Reconcile's students to make?and they will be serving?crawfish pasta with housemad tagliatelle, a cool departure from the café's typical menu which skews more towards soul food and down home-feeling New Orleans classics.
Reconcile opens at 11 and they'll be serving the signature dish on Thursday until it runs out. Oh, and while we're talking Reconcile, they're looking for a new CEO, which might be of interest for anyone interested in food, non-profits and leadership positions.
