EVERYWHERE? The DVD for Season 2 of Treme will be available April 17. One of the features on the box set is a documentary called "Behind Treme: Food for Thought," in which chefs John Besh and Alon Shaya "discuss local cuisine and its importance to the cultural tradition of the city." [TP]

MID CITY? There's a new pop up cocktail bar called Alchemy Lounge, which puts on sporadic, themed events announced purely by word-of-mouth. By Victory Bar alumni Steve Yamada and Sam Kane, the most recent iteration was a 1920s themed cocktail night in Mid City. The next will likely be in March. [Where Y'at]

GARDEN DISTRICT? The folks at local company NOLA Brewing have teamed up with San Diego's Stone Brewing Company to produce Pour Me Somethin' Mistah Imperial Porter. The porter will debut with a release party at Avenue Pub next Saturday from 12:30PM to 9PM, when the Krewes of Pontchartrain, Sparta and Pygmalian will all be rolling down St Charles Avenue. More info here. [NoDef]
