The Fête Française is both a really good opportunity to use fun, French-y punctuation (god bless the circumflex accent) and also the only French Fess in the City of New Orleans. The details are starting to come out about this year's Fête, which will be its 13th iteration. Here are the important deets: this year, the Francophilic block party (hosted by and raising funds for uptown's Ecole Bilingue) is going to be on Saturday, March 31, from 11-6, at the corner of General Pershing and Constance Streets uptown, with a list of food vendors is just kind of ridiculous. The highlights include Boucherie, Cochon & Herbsaint, Lillette, Patois, Taceaux Loceaux, among others.
Between this and the Tennessee Williams Literary Festival, this year's festival season looks like it's going to get off to a pretty tasty start. The full list of food vendors after the jump.
