Tamarind, Dominique Macquet's French-Vietnamese restaurant inside the Hotel Modern, has only offered dinner service since it opened in December, but pretty soon they'll be adding a lunch menu as well. A rep from Tamarind says that the plan is for the restaurant to start lunch service "directly after Carnival season," though in actuality lunch will start on March 1. Presumably because that's an easier date for everyone to remember.
Lunch will be from 11:30 to 2, Monday to Saturday. Main courses and banh mi all run in the $14-$16 range. Check out the menu after the jump. [EaterWire]
