Just in time for the holiday indulgence onslaught, three supper clubs are popping up in the coming week to wow you and your out of town guests. Whether you want to kick it outside with a bonfire, hit up Frenchman street's hottest secret, or dine at an undisclosed speakeasy location, Eater has got you covered:
This Thursday, December 6, event planners My House present a seasonal dinner prepared by Rue Chow food truck owners Jarett and Rachel Eymard at 7:00p.m. at 1118 Napoleon Ave. $30 gets you a huge spread? from cheese to short ribs? live music by John Renshaw, and even the promise of an outdoor bonfire. There's also a cash bar of seasonal cocktails. More info and Tickets available online here. [Eaterwire]
Next Tuesday, December 11 at 7:00 p.m. New Orleans favorite New Yorker chef Dan Esses is hosting his hush-hush 'Table for Thirty' supper club at the Three Muses with a Hanukkah theme featuring Middle Eastern dishes (hello, sweet potato latkes with fried drum). $60/person gets you the amuse bouche, three courses, sides, and dessert plus an apertif and 2 glasses of wine.. To reserve a seat, payment must be made in advance, email candice.sirmon@gmail.com for info. Check the menu to the left. [EaterWire]
Tres Bernard of We've Got Soul is doing a speakeasy themed dinner for The Clandestine Supper Club this coming Saturday, December 8. The 5 course meal comes with liquor pairings and there will also be a live band, and a cash bar too. While the venue isn't revealed until the day of the event, the location is supposedly in the heart of the Quarter. Cost is $50/person, but you must be registered with the supper club, which you can do online here. [Facebook]
