The ever so machismo Spike TV has struck again with an Uptown switcheroo. In under a week, their show Bar Rescue was able to renovate the troubled underage/college mecca TJ Quills into Annex, a seemingly cocktail-focused bar with retrained bartenders, vodka chillers, and a Turbo Chef oven. There's high top tables with touch screens, so you can order food at your seat, but owner Darian Blanchard is still obtaining permits to operate the kitchen at this time. [UptownMessenger]
