The Network that brought you MXC's rotating surfboard of death is bringing the show Bar Rescue to New Orleans. Yes, Spike TV's bar make-over show is in town this week, and over a matter of two days, have transformed Turtle Bay on Bourbon (not to be confused/associated with the Decatur bar) from a dismal tiki bar into what Todd A. Price likens to a Disney haunted mansion called Spirits. Former Cure bartender turned Diageo brand ambassador, Ricky Lopez, appears on the show, which is set to air in early 2013.[NOLA.com]
