Three Muses' NYC Benefit Dinner; Felipe's Goes Tiki

MARIGNY? Word on the street is Bronx native/small plates pimp Dan Esses is having a Hurricane Sandy/NYC Benefit dinner at his always hoppin Three Muses every Thursday night in November (except Thanksgiving) starting this week, November 8. All proceeds going to City Harvest. Check the Menu to the right. [EaterWire]

QUARTER? This Friday, November 9, make your own burrito/Mexican go-to Felipe's will have a four-course Tiki Dinner, Todd A. Price reports, complete with rum drinks, Polynesian fare, and a ukelele player from Hawaii. $45/person, starts at 7p.m. 504.444.2278 for reservations. [NOLA.com]

ORLEANS PARISH? Yay, more confusing City Council drama. The Gambit's Alex Woodward reports that "no, city council has not touched the bar age restriction ordinance." Apparently there was some miscommunication about when/if a vote on Jackie Clarkson's proposed ordinance to raise the age restriction in bars from 18 to 21 years old had taken place yet, as there have been numerous pleas from the music community/bar scene. The proposed ordinance has been deferred to the Criminal Justice Committee. [Gambit]
