Casa Borrega's Celebration, Lazy Magnolia Dinner

CENTRAL CITY? Casa Borrega, an authentic Mexican bar/restaurant/cultural hub set to open on O.C. Haley in late 2012, plans to have food on the good and cheap. Proprietors Hugo Montero and Linda Stone (who did a totally green historical renovation of the building) are hosting a welcome party with the leader of the Librotraficante movement/Mexican-American history expert/writer Tony Diaz tomorrow night, Friday, November 2, from 7-8:30p.m. [NolaDef]

FRENCH QUARTER? Need an idea of what to wear to the C-Tates Saints and Sinners party tomorrow and Saturday? Nothing says Storyville like a fake Ryan Gosling in red suspenders riding a bike (or is he working a jackhammer?) [Facebook]
