FRENCH QUARTER? This evening is the Maison Dupuy Hotel's "Wine and Art Wednesday." Wines are paired with artists at this not so typical tasting from 5-7:30p.m. Artist Kirk Bovie will be on hand to discuss his work, and sommelier Drew Brandwein and NOLA Wine Speaks Bryan Dias will lead the tasting. $20, or free for anyone dining at the hotel's Le Meritage or Bistreaux. MARIGNY? The Healing Center is hosting New Orleans first ever Gluten/Allergen Free Expo in New Orleans. Can you handle it? The event is Sunday, October 21 from 11a.m-4p.m, and Emeril Lagasse's daughters, Jillie and Jessie, will be there doing cooking demos from their new book The Gluten Free Table. Fight the bloat, people. [EaterWire]
