It's finally happened. Three full years after announcing plans to move into the old Copeland's location on St. Charles Avenue, and after over a week of a by-invitation-only soft open, Superior Seafood finally opens today. Led by executive chef Justin Ferguson and GM Andrew Lugo, Superior Seafood will presumably be to seafood what Superior Grill is to "Mexican." But whereas the latter is pretty well known for their frozen margarita, Superior Seafood's Facebook page has been touting their house-mixed frozen mojitos, of both the regular and the pomegranate varieties. There's also a pretty massive oyster bar.
