Last time we checked in with the Street Fare Derby (ah, so long ago), there wasn't any word yet on which food trucks and other mobile vendors would actually be participating. But the list of vendors for the street food celebration is starting to trickle out:

To date, the vendors include The Big Cheesy, ?Lola Deux?, Fork in the Road?, The Fry Bar?, Melt Down, ?Streats McGee,? Ms. Linda the Yakamein Lady?, Peace, Love and Snoballs?, Crepes a la Carte, and Fresh Junkie.
Sweet.

The Street Fare Derby (September 24 at the Fair Grounds) is a big event for the New Orleans Needs More Food Trucks movement, a chance to show folks that maybe the city should have more than 100 mobile vendor permits. The list of vendors is still growing, but those ten should provide a pretty solid foundation.
