Ruth's Chris: Origins

Here's a little ditty about the early days of Ruth's Chris Steak House from the son of Ruth. Randy Fertel describes the early Chris as a place famous for its stiff drinks and short menu of good steaks: "The original menu was composed of three steaks, all from the short loin: filet, strip and porterhouse for two, three or four. Nothing came with the steak but that hot, crusty French bread." [NO Mag]
