Add this to the list of reasons to love New Orleans: NOCCA's Culinary Arts program, in which kids are taught to make things like cornish game hen and braised pork by Dana D'Anzi Tuohy and James Beard-winner, Frank Brigsten, in a kitchen paid for by Emeril. The program held a very Top Chef-esque competition, and the winner, 17 year-old Grace Treffinger, will have her winning dish served at some of the city's best restos, including Bayona, Broussard's , Delmonico and Emeril's.
