Just in time for Sunday's American foosball match between the Glorified Souls of New Orleans and the Ursidae of Chicago, here's a listicle from the Times-Pic of restaurants near-ish to da Dome where you can grab a good meal, before or after the game, or any other time for that matter. The Poydras Street corridor from the river to the Dome used to be rather downtrodden but is now on the up-and-up: "The street is now the spine of what you might call the Dome Zone, an area suddenly denser with attractive options for game-day food and drink."
