Southern Recipes In Unofficial True Blood Cookbook

Eater National has the scoop on a new cookbook based on the sexy, Louisiana-set HBO series, True Blood. Compiled by a trio of super-fans, initial reports are that the cookbook features a number of generically Southern dishes named after characters from the show. For example: "Jason's Bourbon Smashed Potatoes" and "Sookie's Steamy Crawfish Etouffee."

Despite the cheesy names, all of the dishes sound like they were lifted from a church cookbook from Bon Temps, Louisiana, if only Bon Temps, Louisiana actually existed...
