A string of burglaries in Gentilly has struck two restaurants near the corner of Elysian Fields and Filmore Avenues, Fox 8 reports. In less than two months, Big Shirley's Restaurant has been robbed twice and Chinese Tea Garden has been robbed once, burglars hitting Big Shirley's late at night when it was closed, but robbing Chinese Tea Garden at gunpoint during service.
