Mid City residents and fans of frozen yogurt and coffee all over should note the arrival of Ur Way Yogurt & Coffee Bar on Tulane Ave, in the same shopping center as Pizzicare. It's open (softly) through this week, with abbreviated hours for New Year's Eve and Day, returning to full hours on Monday, January 2 (see hours below). The shop is 1700 square feet with seating for 40, a self-service frozen yogurt bar with 40+ toppings and a full coffee and espresso bar with desserts and pastries (including a rotating cast of local sweets?right now they've got pralines). Ur Way is the brainchild of Cleveland Spears III, a consultant, publisher of the Mid-City Neighborhood Catalog and general promoter of the revitalization of Mid City, and his fiancée Kelisha Garrett.

Hours: Mon-Thurs 6:30AM-10PM; Fri 6:30AM-midnight; Sat 9-midnight; Sun 9AM-10PM.
