In an old firehouse that has been 3 different restaurants in the last twenty years, chef Chris Cody is planning to open a new eatery called Dijon, the Gambit reports.

Cody spent "about a year" at a fine dining restaurant in Kenner called Pelicano Ristorante and was most recently doing bar food at the Roosevelt Hotel Bar, a bar "next to (but unrelated to) the Roosevelt Hotel." He describes the menu at Dijon as "contemporary American/Louisiana." The location on Annunciation most recently housed Big Al's Seafood.

Cody plans to open Dijon by March of 2012.
