The sale of Winn Dixie to South Carolina-based grocery chain Bi-Lo was announced yesterday. Winn Dixie is based in Jacksonville, so why do we care? There's the little issue of that new Winn Dixie that's supposed to open next year on Carrollton Avenue, but good news: "That project is still full steam ahead." [TP]
