Hogs for the Cause, the festival, charity event and barbecue competition, returns next year for another round of drinking and smoking. (Smoking meats, that is.) The date is set for March 24, 2012.

To get amped for this, the Hogs organizers have released a hype video with statistics and footage from the last several years. What you need to know: it started in 2009 with one pig and 250 people, raising $7,000 for pediatric brain cancer research. Earlier this year, in only their third iteration, they had 50 teams, 7000 people, and raised $100,000. For next year, they're shooting for $350,000.

But how does one turn all those facts into a hype video? Use "The Final Countdown" as the soundtrack and have smoke and fire in the background that look like they could have come from the original video for that song. The only thing that could make it more awesome would be if they got Will Arnett to read the statistics. Maybe for 2013...
