Ian McNulty, restaurant critic at the Gambit, writes that chef Greg Picolo has moved to the Mid City restaurant-in-a-church Redemption. Picolo was the longtime chef at The Bistro at the Maison de Ville until it closed earlier this year. Meanwhile, Redemption "has struggled to distinguish itself" since it opened last year. Picolo plans to bring some of the flavors from the Bistro to Redemption and "also is planning specials inspired by New Orleans' culinary past." [Gambit]
