NOLA-Schools.jpgWDSU pored over "hundreds" of Department of Health and Hospitals cafeteria inspection reports and discovered that, surprise surprise, the kitchens at many local schools are kind of gross. Major violations included roaches at Edna Karr and John McDonogh High Schools and rodents at AP Tureaud. Private schools aren't off the hook either: At Brother Martin, "food contact surfaces and utensils are not clean to sight and touch." [WDSU]
