WOW Wingery Named Best in Show at Po-Boy Fest

Over the Thanksgiving break, the Oak Street Po-Boy Festival finally named their award winners for the 2011 fest, and national chain WOW Wingery beat out all the local competition to be named "Best in Fest". WOW also won the award for the best shrimp.

Local names represented in the rest of the categories, though. The Bread Pudding Po-Boy from Saltwater Grill won "Best Specialty Non-Seafood and Mid City doughnut shop Blue Dot won "Best Meat" for their Pork Doboy Pob-boy. Redfish Grill won the "Best Specialty Seafood/Non-shrimp" award. Po-Boy Fest really needs to come up with better names for their awards.
