CNN Money ran a profile today of empire builder Emeril Lagasse, asking him to "share his secrets for entrepreneurs who are hungry for success." In addition to lots of advice that seems pretty standard for business people anywhere, he also says to "pay it forward" by giving back to the community: "I think everyone has a responsibility to give back to the community if they can, and to help future generations learn new skills and better themselves."
