Peter Thriffiley, Jr at Blackened Out debuted a new feature today, diving headfirst into the burger trend. The first joint to get the 'Burger Bonanza' treatment is Company Burger. The Freret Street restaurant opened by Adam Biderman this past summer got a "birdie" on the Blackened Out golf-inspired rating gimmick scale. That's one stroke under par, which we guess translates to slightly above average.
At any rate, Thriffiley liked the burger, thought the bun was "a bit too firm," and that Biderman "is a very involved owner and his presence is reassuring that a firm hand is on the wheel of this ship." He also says it's kind of expensive, but "worth spending money on." So yeah, that equates to a birdie.
